Thanks Erik!

A side note: you should mention the year on the image. I know you mentionned it below but it would make sense as well to mention it on the image itself to avoid data loss (when the image circulates around, it does not always go with your blog post)

Best

The most recent data is unusual, too. c. February 2012, there's a sharp increase in mobile Safari and Android, a moderate uptick for non-mobile Chrome (which might just be unusually large normal growth), mostly at the expense of IE and, to a lesser extent, Firefox. There wasn't a similar mobile spike after Christmas in 2010 or 2011, so this doesn't seem to be seasonal.

I originally wondered if it was from the Android app released a month ago, but presumably that wouldn't increase Safari usage...

If you look closely in the charts above there is a note "Wiktionary data minus excessive spam". In recent months half of wiktionary traffic came from one ip address, all requesting endless random pages. Some oversized test setup?

"Most of this relative gain was at the expense of Wiktionary which fell from 1.5% in July 2008 to 1.0% in January 2012." Wait, what? That statistic seems to be completely contradictory to what it says in the charts. "Jan 2012 - 2.7%, 495M". Am I just reading the chart incorrectly?
